Fine adjust question

Reply:Denrep   i tried your suggestion with the carbon and woohoo this baby can bring it on.Found a rheostat and its on its way.the generator was history so put a new  alternator on today,just a mild bracket making foray.put a new radiator cap on and now found a leak so its out and off to the radiator shop.seems to idle a touch high but i havent done any fine tuning yet so not worried.
