I will be competing in the SkillsUSA regional competition next year (Welding and Fabrication) and was wondering if any of you have ever done it? Im about to start designing my blue prints so I can finish that up and do a stress analysis as well (i'll be using Fusion 360) Would like to hear tips or experiences you guys might have to offer? If you are interested here is the "theme" http://www.skillsusaca.org/sites/def...age%20Rack.pdf It talks about how we might have to do our oxy/fuel cutting with propane instead of acetylene how much different is it?
Reply:Forgot that Fusion 360 does not yet support welding so i'll have to find another software to replace it.
Reply:One of my co-workers competed in that competition for about 5 years in a row. This year, he will be a judge, in our area.Rich
Reply:Yep. I competed at nationals 4 times in KC.My name's not Jim.... |
