Lincon 175 HD on sale!!!

I found this at home depot, its on clearance for 425.00 regular price is 629.00.this will be my first welder and wanted to know if its a good welder and it's reputation,I want to learn with it and make me a trailer for my 4 wheeler and Harley.any thoughts are welcomed, Thanks......
Reply:I'm just a hobbiest, but I have no real complaints about mine.It's handled everything I could reasonably expect a welder in its class to handle.So far, I've used it on steel thicknesses ranging from rusted out mower deck to 1/4".I have it set up so I have the aluminum kit, the 0.045" flux core kit, a tank of argon and a tank of CO2.  Eventually I'll probably buy a small tank of tri-mix for stainless.------------------------------Lincoln 175HDLincoln AC/DC225Smith O/A
