I am not an experienced tig welder but I would really like to add a tig setup to my Ranger to do small delicate things. There is some food grade stainless work local from time to time. My question is, what do I need. I have some idea, torch with valve, gas line from torch to bottle on truck, remote control. Am I missing anything?Ranger 250 GXTSmith Gas Axe
Reply:screw the remote!so, you have bottle to lug with generic gas-hose (50-100')at the lug, you have your gas in, connect the negative side of your ranger (with half the lead you own), and both the electricity and gas flow out through your tig-cable, preferably 25' worth.all that's left is your "ground" side which is the other half of your lead with a clamp. cake and pie.to do sanitary though, I suggest a dual flowmeter setup and another 100' of gas hosebosses stuff:trailblazer 325maxstar 200my stuff:sa 200fronius transpocket 180100 amp Lincoln w/f97 f350 DITKevin
