This is the second time we've rewired my tail lights and again the driver side running lights keep cutting off if anyone can help me out on how to fix this problem my frown wired up my lights so I have no idea on how to fix things
Reply:Check for power with meter or test light. Check ground connection lights do funny things with bad grounds. Dielectric grease on connections. I like heat shrink connectors. Are you using led lamps I Love how they hold up.Millermatic 252millermatic 175miller 300 Thunderboltlincoln ranger 250smith torcheslots of bfh'sIf it dont fit get a bigger hammer
Reply:And when using a test light I ALWAYS ground it to the battery. From Home Depot, I got bulk power tool 2 conductor electric cord. (because it's more flexable) I twisted both conductors together. Then I hooked one end to a battery jumper clamp and the other left bare to hook my test light to. I made a 25'er and a 50'er (for the semi trailer lights). This way you always have a GOOD ground and you're not second guessing."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! I sent him over to snag that MIC-4 while tbone wasn't looking!" - duaneb55"I have bought a few of Tbone's things unlike Stick-Man who helps himself" - TozziWelding"Stick-man"
Reply:I like to do that too. I also like too hook to the ground of the lite to test that. also have a test light with a second pick/probe for "diggin" throgh paint or what ever.Millermatic 252millermatic 175miller 300 Thunderboltlincoln ranger 250smith torcheslots of bfh'sIf it dont fit get a bigger hammer
