I broke a brass fitting that goes to the oil filter and pressure sensor. The fitting is T shaped. The right side fo the T has a 1/4" pipe fitting that screws into the engine block. There is what I think is called a JIC fitting on top of the T that goes to the oil filter. Not sure of the thread. The left side of the T has a 1/8 thread that goes to the pressure sensor. Can someone tell me where to get this part? Reply:Don't know if you can still get that exact part, but a good hardware or auto parts stoore should have all the fittings you need to make it up.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
Reply:It seems that the middle part of the T has a reverse flare that no one has. The middle part connects to a flared tube and the flare has to have something to tighten against. Can find that part. I've been to Lowes, some fastener and pipe fitting place, a hyraulic shop, salvage yard, Airgas, and called someone in Dallas. Its supposed to be 103 degrees out there and San Antonio traffic is horrid at times.Update: Foud the part at stumpfwelding supply. They also gave me some good advice to get up and running while I'm waiting on the part.Last edited by shanghyd; 07-10-2009 at 04:23 PM.
