Reply:I bought a backhoe on my wife's birthday, a year later, a dump truck. I joke it was for her birthday. A neighbor hasn't much sense of humor, she chewed me out, said I was a terrible person.

Reply:Several years ago I would buy my wife now X flowers. She would chu me out for spending the money. After I quite I don't think she liked that ether but couldn't say anything. Guess you just can't win.

Reply:45 years ago My friend built his house in the center of a pine forest. The very large trees now 45 years older are 45 years taller. one by one they are dying. Him and the missus are 45 years older. His proven method is to climb the tree, tie a rope high up, and his wife pulls to ensure it falls the right direction. If you've ever watched Wile E. Coyote, you see the flaw in this plan. Jim was worried, his wife was slowing down with age, she can't run as fast as she once could. For her birthday he bought her a longer rope!
