Have the dial arc, MIC-4 inverterbox, torch w/thumb slide control- have used the machine with stick with great results, but need to figure out how to set it up for aluminum TIG welding. Any advice? Thank you!
Reply:Let me know if you get tired of that thumb control set up. Ive got a foot pedal id gladly trade for the thumb control
Reply:Ran the TIG rig yesterday on mild steel, runs beautiful on scratch start, I didn't have the correct gas hose connectors to run my thumbwheel rig, the slide has like an 8 pin connector, but the thumbwheel rig has the correct 5 pin connector for the MIC 4 inverter, will shop around for the gas connectors, then will try the rig on aluminum.
Reply:If you have the hf unit then you don't need the Mic 4 or thumb control, just turn the hf on hit the foot control in ac of course and go let me know if you wanna get rid of that Mic 4. Mabey I can make it worth while |
