DIY Welder Cover

Well tonight I was scrambling to get everything in the shop covered before the roof leaked all over my tools, Lucky for me it only rained for a bit then the storm moved off. The roof doesn't leak to heavy but does have a couple of drips here and there, After covering everything I ended up opening a new poly-coated canvas to cover up the Syncrowave 210. I was debating a while back to buy the miller cover but at $135 dollars I can't really afford it right now so I ended up making my own for under $20 and it looks awesome , well to me anyways.Every time I am at harbor freight I pick up poly coated canvas which is cheap and its always good to have extras around. I used adhesive Velcro along with tacking spray, Velcro can be sewed which I did on one part to experiment , the others I used adhesive spray to soak the inside of the canvas ( Non Coated Part) for extra bonding of the adhesive Velcro backing. I will be making covers for the rest of my miller machines, I might put some Miller electric decals I got from the miller owners club. Reply:Very clever. I could benefit from doing that same thing. Grinding knife handles, puts a nice layer of dust on everything in my work space.
Reply:The cover looks great. Reminds me of the winter the roof leaked in the shop so bad I finally just stretched a big tarp under the leak(s) and let it drain into a funnel made from a soda bottle with a garden hose attached. Ran the hose out the back door and waited for the weather to let up so I could patch the roof. Thanks for the reminder I need to address one spot on the roof.
