How to make a Split Cross

Reply:Thanks. I'll put one of those on my to do list next time I get to the shop. I'm used to doing the standard split crosses, but I always shorten the one side before I split them. It didn't really occur to me to leave them both full size, then cut the short side when done. That simplifies the problem I was trying to work out over what needed to be cut 1st..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear.
