the problem is that the wire feed speed is not consistent im running flux core the speed changes when welding thanks for your time!
Reply:Measure the voltage at the drive motor and see if it ever drops. But my guess is you need a new tip and liner, it make as huge difference.Torchmate 2x2 CNC with Flashcut CNC controlsHypertherm Powermax45 Esab ET220i Razorweld 195 MigRazorweld 200ac/dc TigTormach 770, Tormach xstechRazorweld, Vipercut/Vipermig, SSC Foot Pedal Dealer

Reply:Also make sure feed rollers are right size and make sure the little plastic wing nut stud that holds the spool isn't binding and tightening up the spool.

Reply:it has not been used much never adjusted the tension and the drive rolls arnt slipping
Reply:If you have the roller tension too high, flux core wire will squash and not feed through the tip properly.
Reply:Not being funny here because I know how frustrating it can be when equipment fails one. But, I must say that those Lincoln weld "pak" welders are pretty much garbage. A Lincoln "weld pak" is like a "6-pack" of Hamm's beer. They both don't last long at all.
