Reply:Hey Moe, why don't you just build one there are some guys on here that have built some really cool ones !it would be a fun project. look on miller weldings website under shop projects there is a couple on there, nice as anything you can buy  i am sure you would have allot less money in it .let us know what you figure out .. good luck Chris
Reply:I have a Metal Ace bench top model.  I bought it off of Craig's List from some guy that was selling out due to economic reasons.  Yes, you can build one as well and there are several places that will sell you the component parts if you lack the machining capabilities to make those your self .  I've built a couple in the past and the frame is easy.  The anvils are hard to machine unless you have CNC capabilities but those are available through several suppliers such as Metal Ace.Jerry Gulley sells Metal Ace and carries the kit parts as well.  http://www.gulleyperformancecenter.c...ish_wheels.phphttp://www.englishwheels.netRogerOld, Tired, and GRUMPYSalesman will call, Batteries not included, Assembly is required, and FREE ADVICE IS WORTH EXACTLY WHAT YOU PAY FOR IT!Dial Arc 250HFThunderbolt 225 AC/DCAssorted A/O torches

Reply:Take a look here  http://www.allmetalshaping.com/searc...earchid=746822  If you make your own you will likely have a better machine than the old cast iron ones and for a lot less money. The old cast units were not all that stiff compared to a well designed frame made from large section tubing. Reply:I built mine, really not that hard. I was 14 when I built it. The rollers are the only part you need any machining tools to build.
Reply:Ok  thanks guys I'm prob gonna buy one I don't really have time to build one got to many projects going on lolIf the conversation isn’t money, then I’ll see you later.

Reply:First time I learned these things exist was in old Road and Track magazines.  They were looking around the Lotus factory in England and the article said the ~English Wheel~ was critical in creating the curves.   Very kool toy.   Jesse says they can be a thumb busterLincoln Power MIG 215Lincoln WeldPak 3200HDLincon ProCut 25Lincoln WeldanPower 225 AC/DCIf all else fails... buy more tools

Reply:Does anybody know where to get a good solid set of plans for an E-Wheel?  I figure I can buy a set of wheels for the one I want to build.  Also, a set of roller plans would be good.  I have a good set of hand powered tubing bender plans I will trade.  ThanksLincoln 175Monkey Wards 230v.  Stick
