My Victor AF150 Argon/Co2 regulator died today............seal(s) leaking badly. I've been running straight CO2 thru it for several months............ran argon/co2 mix for several years before. Someone told me the straight CO2 will freeze the diaphragm and cause failure. Is this true? If so, what is the best replacement so I can run straight CO2?
Reply:I did read that using a argon/co2 regulator on straight co2 will destroy it. It appears that you may have found that to be true. Here's one that was recommended on the site. I have not bought it yet. http://www.usaweld.com/CO2-Welding-F.../12020-co2.htm
Reply:BD: I ordered a flow regulator from HTP. It came a couple days ago. I love it. Thanks for info!
