When I bought the Lincoln PM255 last week, it came with a broken Harris inert gas regulator. It looks to be a very nice regulator, so I wanted to have it rebuilt. I ended finding regulatortorchrepair.com. They were very responsive to emails and answered a bunch of questions. I needed the torch rebuilt and the inlet changed from a slip type nipple to a cg580 fitting. The price quoted was reasonable, so I mailed it to them. It looks like about a week or so turn around from when they receive the package. Once I get the regulator back, I will post before/after pictures. I am not affiliated with this company. I just wanted to post this for people like me who don't have this service available locally.Lincoln Powermig 255Hypertherm Powermax 45Thermal Arc 161SOxweld 24R OA TorchStill Looking for an Old Round Top Idealarc 250
Reply:Quite a few guys here have used them and reported satisfactory results. OAdoctor here works there, but hasn't been on much lately. He was very helpful and knowledgeable when I had some questions on reg stuff. I certainly would recommend them..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size.
