What type of plunger is this?

Hi,I've got this drop saw stand at home and noticed they used this useful little plunger for locking the legs in place. These are the front and back pictures.The back is a washer looking clip that holds it from getting pulled out.I thought it would be a spring plunger but it looks nothing like them apart from the ball end...:https://www.google.com/search?site=&...17.Kc_G0-2qkPAAnyone know what these are?

Reply:Google "detent pin".  That might be what you have.
