I have a two different types of torches available, both are Symex. The S-5 torch with 7' lead is $140 plus shipping and the S-3 with 7' lead is $120 plus shipping. I have a assortment of carbon rod sizes and price vary. Specs can be seen here http://www.fpga-faq.org/sb-metal_hol...%20Torches.pdf Attached Images
Reply:Thats a deal, I paid way more than that for my Arcair K-4000.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
Reply:A quick question, I looked at the spec sheet you linked to and didn't see an an air flow recommendation for any of the torches. Do you know how many CFM at 90psi(or whatever they recommend for pressure) that these torches require? I will take one off your hands, along with a selection of carbon arc rods, if the air demand isn't too great for my air compressor.Benson's Mobile Welding - Dayton, OH metro area - AWS Certified Welding Inspector
Reply:Just got off the phone with Symex, they recommend 25 CFM for the S-3 and 29 CFM for the S-5. PM or call me at 1-603-692-9940 if interested. You can ask for Matt.Last edited by RescueWelding; 06-28-2011 at 10:31 AM.
Reply:That's what I was afraid of. I need a carbon arc torch with lower air demand, (or someone to give me a much bigger air compressor...)Thanks for checking and getting back so quickly....
