bikecycle rack idea's

My wife and I have 4 boys aged 6 to 12, and yesterday while out in the back yard I noticed that all their bikes were scattered about.  I thought It would be good to make a bike rack for them, does anyone have any good idea's, or pics of something similar?  Thanks.

Reply:1" tube (or similar material... something reletively strong to help protect against corrosion and pissed off kids throwing bikes at it), spaced about 6" apart, build an elevated base to hold the front tire off the ground and the wheels fit thru the slots between the 1" stock. similar idea to those found at most schools or grocery stores/other public places. simple design, easy fabircation, just a little time-consuming... an evening or two should git-r-done.Later,Andy

Reply:Bike racks are how I got started welding.  All the ones posted so far look very nice but are too much work for me.  All you need is a horizontal bar at some appropriate height above the ground such that the bike can be hung off it from the saddle.  If a picture is needed, I guess I can post one later, but you probably understand what I mean...I had to build bike racks for about 700 triathletes.  Lots of welding...Tim
