http://www.cdcotools.com/I bought the 115 piece drill bit set and so far so good. I have been drilling with them for awhile and are holding up. For the price even if you only drill one hole with every bit they about pay for themselves. I can't speak for anything else though. A friend of mine is a machienst and bought some of their chucks only for back up he was impressed for what he paid. Probably wouldn't use any of this as a primary source of tooling for a bussiness but for backup or a weekend warrior/hobbiest might find something that will work for you.
Reply:Not bad, wide variety of selection versus Shars.
Reply:Chinese tooling, Shars is same same. I have some of the exact AXA toolholders, after I took the set screws out, drilled them out, tapped them a size bigger and put in USA made set screws it works as advertised.Still cheaper than a new Aloris, and it works well, but you get what you get on chinese tools, steels not bad, quality of workmanship is the pits.I have several though, each with its own USA cutter saves a bunch of time just switcing out the tool holder.
Reply:I've ordered several arbors and holders from shar's, I've always gotten good products from them..tackleexperts.comwww.necessityjigs.comhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/mach...dingequipment/
Reply:Yeah my buddy mentioned something about having to rework some of the tooling holders but I guess what mods he had to make didn't take long, he shared the option of workmanship by I guess they have been working well. I was just looking for a large index of drills as I really no nothing about the machining aspect of things. I am kinda shocked the bits are holding up expected them to bend, break or dull quickly but for 60 buck it was worth a shot. |
