Got my new hood today and burned a few beads, so thought I would let you know my thoughts.  First off assume looking lid.  The color is more blue or white than the usually green or yellow, real nice natural looking color.  The clearness is great it's better than my older 2450 which is good, don't think you could ask for it to be any sharper. I was leaning toward a jackson for color and the 5 to 8 shades for plasma, but the 5 to 8 I'm told doesn't auto darken on the jackson, its fixed and on the lincoln it auto darkens l tried it. All and all a very nice hood as my 2450  also is and a great company.  I called them once on my 2450 for a broken head gear, a nice lady ask how she could help me.  I told her the head gear broke and she ask what's your address I'll send you a new one, no 20 questions, just I'll sent you a new one.  Anyway don't think you can go wrong with this hood especially at $237.72 from welding mart.  The owner Dan took my order, had plenty of time to gab and got it to me in 3 days free shipping. Reply:I  am very pleased with my 3350 4C lens. The bluish-gray tint seems to provide a lot of detail in what you are viewing. I haven't tried it with plasma yet. Glad to hear it functions like my 2nd generation 2450 does. As they continue to keep improving the view quality through these lens I've started to collect a few helmets/lens combos recently.
