Magnum SG spool gun for 255c

Hey guys,I'm looking at snagging this Magnum SG spool gun on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/Lincoln-Magnum-S...item335a58c7baDoes anyone have one? This guy got it apparently on some trade for payment and doesn't know much about it. It is right down the road from me and I went and looked at it. It had the plug cut off of it, but I found the plug at digikey for $16 so I'm not too worried about that. That also saves me from having to buy the $90 adapter for my 255c, so I'm actually kind of happy about that. I was just wondering if anyone has any realy time experience with it? I have my TIG for critical aluminum but I figure for $550 (hapefully only $500 ) it is a good toy to have.If you cannot convince them, confuse them.         Harry S Truman

Reply:500hp is easy, it's diesel. I've got the Banks 6 gun package (not just the tuner). It's fun, but burns wayyyy too much diesel, and 37" tires cost way too much so I have to stay out of the throttle. It gets about 8mpg when its cranked up driving normal, about 2mpg when its cranked and my lead foot gets the best of me.here she isIf you cannot convince them, confuse them.         Harry S Truman

Reply:I like my sg exept got to be gentle with the wire plugs. Other than that the only issue I have is having to back the wire holddown nut off as the wire depletes it tightens down on the spool by itself. I back the pressure nut of till the wire loosens up free.
