I have a Bernard Q300 gun, and I want to put a tapered tip and nozzle on it to get into some tighter spots. I was just looking at Bernard's parts catalog and they show "Small Centerfire Gas Diffusers and Nozzles" and "Large Centerfire Gas Diffusers and Nozzles".Which group do I need to look at? I think want to get the 3/8" ID setup. Thanks for any wisdom!
Reply:I have those but they are in LA still so can't go out and look. See this link. Their should be a marking on the diffuser on your gun. D-1 or DS-1 then just order the matching consumables.use the pic to tell which diffuser you have if no markings it's an accurate illustrationhttp://www.bernardwelds.com/centerfi...0#.VDeKRGFydPELast edited by soutthpaw; 10-10-2014 at 03:28 AM.Tiger Sales: AHP Distributor www.tigersalesco.comAHP200x; AHP 160ST; MM350P, Spoolmatic 30A; Everlast PowerTig 185; Thermal Dynamics 60i plasma. Reply:Great! Thanks. I'll look for that number first thing tomorrow.
Reply:Ok, I can't read any numbers on the diffuser because someone has been using pliers instead of a wrench to remove it but from the image it is going to be the large style. Now I need to decide if I want to get the cone for this one, or convert it to the small style and go from there. Thanks for your help!
