WANTED: Hi all,I just picked up a Lincoln squarewave TIG 175 at an auction here in Phoenix. It is missing the remote control and the TIG torch/connector and the stinger lead / connector. I have extra torches and stinger, lead that I can adapt to it but need the power connectors. One for TIG and one for stick.Anyone happen to have any of these laying around gathering dust they would like to sell? Also I was thinking that in the meantime I could adapt one of my TIG torches with an on-off switch in the meantime so I could use the machine.Does anyone know the pin out and which pins control the on-off circuit? It is a six pin connector. How about where I might pick up a connector for the remote? Maybe an industrial electronic supply house? We have one here in Phoenix not far from my house. Thanks,TonyLast edited by therrera; 08-05-2011 at 11:52 AM.Reason: wanted to add WANTED
Reply:Sorry folks, forgot to mention in the title that I am looking for a remote, not selling one. Thanks,Tony
Reply:Tony,If you go download the manual from the lincoln site, there is a schematic in there that should provide the pin outs you need. Also, I added a weldcraft WP17 torch to my unit and bought the weldcraft adapter, screwed the hose onto it and was in business. Most of the companies can provide an adapter for this unit (if you can't find one any other way). I think I paid about $35-40 from my LWS for the adapter.KevinHobart Handler 210Tweco Fabricator 181iLincoln Squarewave Tig 175
Reply:Thanks trackbird, I'll look into that.Tony
Reply:Hello all,I am no longer seeking the remote for this unit. Turns out that the main transformer is bad. If I can't find a replacement at a cost worthy price I will have to scrap the machine or sell it off as parts. Thanks,Tony
