I have a sa200 -f-163 code 7307 with no oil pressure light .. and need to know what volts the regulator is suposed to be reading mine is reading 18 right now thanks greg
Reply:18 volts is too much, it should read around 13 or 14 volts so the voltage regulator is bad. Does the machine not have an oil pressure light or is it not working?RD 1984 Chevrolet C30 welding truck1966 Lincoln SA200 Continental F162 1942 Lincoln SA200 Hercules IXB-51991 Lincoln LN25
Reply:The light is not working. Concerned now that the light may have blow do to the higher amps
Reply:I agree with Robert on the voltage regulator and that would be blown due to the higher voltage. The regulator may have dirty field control contacts (stuck), bad sensing voltage connection or broken wire internally. Mechanical regulators are pretty simple and you may be able to easily correct the problem. If not, your local auto parts store should be able to match a new one up for you.If you don't have them already, below are a couple Lincoln manuals that may come in handy for you.http://content.lincolnelectric.com//...r/im/IM276.pdfhttp://content.lincolnelectric.com//...r/im/IM277.pdfThere are many other sources of valuable information on the SA 200 so just let us know if you need something or can't find it.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!
