hi after lots of research at the forum i just bougth my first mig welder a Millermatic 211i read a lot of good reviews of this machineit was not cheap.. but i wanted it.first impression was it is a good quality machine.lets try it.wait it includes only a solid wire roll and i dont have gas...
Reply:so i made 100 mile trip to the gas suplier. and realized i had to make a us$270 deposit for the tank.and the gas cost is us$140 for a gas mix 75%ar 25%co2(please don tell my wife )and a 8"roll of solid wire, mig pliers...it is becoming expensive...
Reply:Nice man!!!! Congrats on the new toy you will love it. I've never heard one bad thing about that welder I think you will fall in love. Buy your own bottle and get the biggest one! It's way cheaper for gas that way. Or buy the 150 and just upgrade up when u got the cash. You got a 50 or 60 amp spare breaker? Post some welds soon!

Reply:it comes with a regulator. "this regulator is to be used w gas Ar- co2 mixtures where the argon is the main gas" so no for 100% co2

Reply:Nice looking setup. How about a close up pic of one of the better welds on the cart. Is there another piece of metal like a 2 inch square tube under the plate that the welder is sitting on?
