1968 Lincoln SA-200 Redface

I have a 1968 F-163 Lincoln Redface SA 200 welder I am selling. It is a working machine that I personally used in Arizona on a pipeline project. I have spent over $4000 on the machine since I bought it. New headjob, new carb, new magneto, new electric auto idler, new weldtron remote, new wiring, new stewart warner gauges and switches, new rheostat and handles, new radiator, new waterpump, new oil and fuel lines, new engine mounts, new belt, switched over to alternator, also it was disassembled down to the frame and cleaned, sanded and painted black with new Lincoln grey hood and doors. Has been tested on a load bank all was professionally done while I was working in Arizona. I no longer need this rig as I have a new 200D pipeliner and another backup rig that is setting. Reply:Yeah I understand. I know it looks worse in the pics but it has just been sitting in my shop for awhile now notice the spider webs on it. I would assume a nice wash job would clean it up better. I also used it once I finished it so it was out on the line and has the usual scuffs and scratches. I know it doesnt matter but I paid $3,500 when I bought it and have reciepts for a addtional $4,000 I spent on it and used it for a year. If someone is really interested I would deal on it but be realistic and fair. I just dont need the machine I'm not even welding anymore.

Reply:lot of people think that the old machine are better ( red face machine )  But they are just money pit's look at all the money you said you spent on it ,if I spent that much on one ,I would not sell it ,I see you bought a 200-D , what happen to the love of the red face ??? to me  ( I'm just a rebuilder, the machine your trying to sale is a machine ,that has had it day , that why you move on to that 200-D . That just what I think , have a good day

Reply:I put one on ebay. Redface with a trailer starting bid $999. I really got tired of the craigslist people. With ebay its usually a done deal. With cragislist you get the no show, the lowballer, the dreamer, the tire kicker and other assorted time wasters. I would like to get more than $999 but I'm going to take the highest bid. If it doesn't sell I'll keep it for a while.
