Trying to decide between the 700G and the 750S Viking helmet. I am just a beginner with a stick welder. Any suggestions between the two?
Reply:Here is the main difference between the two... Do you want cheater lens capability or do you like having a standard front lens cover. The 700 and 750 are just the beginners in Lincoln's new line. If you are looking for a Lincoln helmet, I would wait just a couple more months. I had a "prototype" helmet in here that I was doing a demo on, and I would def recomend it over the 700 or 750. It was cheater lens capable, had a std outside lens, was lightweight, had the inside controls on the shade, sensitivity, and delay, AND had a brand new headgear which held itself up when "clicked" in the up position. It looked pretty neat and I can't wait to see them come out soon.
