Recently I purchased an Idealarc TIG-250/250. It doesn't have the factory power factor correction capacitors, which I would really like in order to drop the requirements to feed the machine at full power. Right now, I have everything I would need to feed it at full power if it has the PFC capacitors. Besides not having to buy the parts to wire up the welder, this fits better with the service feeding the panel where the welder is located. Does anybody have any information on what the factory parts were, other than the OEM part numbers listed in the manual?Also, anybody have an accurate number for the weight on this machine? I have heard anywhere from 300lbs to 600lbs. My back says about 400lbs but I haven't figured out how many slipped disks per 100lbs yet. |
