I'm gearing up the plans to get my air compressor plumbed ready for plasma cutting. I bought a used speedaire compressor and it came with a bunch of filters some were installed sideways, upside down, etc. I am starting fresh and have broken down all the times coming from the tank. #1 Is this a oil/air seperator? Made from speedaire#2 air/water water seperator? made from Brinks#3 air/water seperaor? made from Brinks. This is a much smaller unit than the one above, but it also has yarn like filter instead of a stone. And it appears to be soaked in oil#4 misc regulatorsSince I;ll be running the compressor within 10 ft from the table. The filters will be placed right by the tank with the air/oil first, then the air-water second. With gauges in the apporate place and regulators as well. The only air compressors I have ever owed before were rigid or husky oil less compressor, (the loud ones). I have since did a tune-up on the compressor itself and it's ready for plumbing, but these filters have me stumped. Any help is welcomed, TY |
