Hey guys, I came across some welding rod that's used for hardfacing and I wanted to see if anyone here would be interested in buying a few pounds of the stuff. http://www.thermadyne.com/IM_Uploads...ete/Wcb017.pdfThe rod I have is part number 11452700 or the 1/8" material. It's coming out of California and I'll be happy to ship. Stoody doesn't make it anymore and they sold it for $46/lb. I can sell it for $18/lb + shipping. Let me know!-John
Reply:Just in case anyone is concerned about my credibility, I use the same handle on other forums....tacomaworld, pwctoday, ttora. I've bought and sold several items through those sites.- John

Reply:Originally Posted by Oldiron2'Papa'; are you familiar with this particular product? I wasn't, so looked at the Stoody link last week and noticed the part about gas usage; seems to not be a standard stick rod, but rather something specially made for atomic hydrogen welding. Am I right, and/or can you add anything else about it? I'm just curious; I do have other Stoody products, probably more than I'll ever use up.
