powcon 400 smt and other equipment for sale

I’m helping my cousin liquidate his pipe fitting shop in Hubbard Oregon.I have this welder listed on craigslist Portland for $1200Powcon 400 smt Welder. leads .two wire feeders package deal.I have a paypal account and I use a reasonable shipper. Reply:I bought a powcon 400 smt with a pd22 wirefeeder, cart, and 120 cf bottle of gas off of craigslist back in the spring for $500.

Reply:Powcon made a lot of 3 phase only versions of the 400SMT and they cannot be converted to single phase 230vac.   Easy to tell if there is no designation on the single phase side of the data plate...   also if you take the top cover off and it does not have the 230/460 reversible power board its a 3 phase only unit and not worth squat...  I did get lucky selling one on ebay a while back as a parts machine.   if its a single phase machine its worth 400-700 on ebay but you will pay ebay and paypal about 15-20% of that and you gotta hassle with shipping it.    I would say 250-400 for the welder alone via craigslist.   you will get about $250-300 for each feeder on ebay if they have guns and work etc...     again ebay will ding you.       maybe $100-200 each for the feeders on craigslist or here...Most folks dont want a welder and 2 wire feeders.   those are basically miller S22 feeders...I have sold Half a dozen Powcons on CL or ebay   The 400smt is 80lbs to ship and can go standard UPS ground.   Figure about $1/lb for the shipping cost...Tiger Sales:  AHP Distributor    www.tigersalesco.comAHP200x; AHP 160ST; MM350P,  Spoolmatic 30A; Everlast PowerTig 185; Thermal Dynamics 60i plasma.  For Sale:  Cobra Mig 250 w/ Push-pull gun.  Lincoln Wirematic 250
