hey guys. i have a chance to buy this pedal. i have been looking everywhere and everyone wants lots of $ for one. other than the argon tank, the pedal is the last item i need for my syncrowave 250. question is, my torch is in the mail, and i want to check the pedal to see if it works. is there anyway i can see if the pedal works without using the torch to create a arc? if there is, please let me know. i can plug it into the machine, and power it up, just no torch. or if theres a way i can check it without the machine, ill try that too. Thank you....Last edited by loolagigi; 08-07-2012 at 08:18 PM.
Reply:You can use the pedal in stick mode as well. Set amps to remote and set your max amps on the machine. Floor the pedal and strike an arc. Then you can back off or add amps using the pedal to make sure it works..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Reply:Check to see that the gas valve opens when you stomp the pedal
