I know ya'll like to see pictures of welds, so I was welding some crane stops, and decided to go uphill. Need to work on keeping it more uniform. Miller 452, 21volts, wire speed 280, .035 wire, 75/25 argon-co2 at 30 cfh. I-beam W18x24 welded to 3/4" A36 plate.I have more pictures but having trouble finding them. Are you starting to be able to read the puddle yet?Bottom picture the toe shown a top is a lot more jagged than the one shown at the bottom. Again I think you may be favoring one side over the other. I'd also like to see the motion tightened up still. I'd like to see you move across 2 to 3 times as much which would smooth out the bead and the edges some..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size.
