Reply:A couple of questions and a little advise. What was the flat or flats for on the threaded piece? Since you brought up money, what do you charge for doing something like this? The fit up of the threaded piece to the tube looks pretty good, did you put a radius on the one end of it? While I am guilty of it as well, it really isn't good to load up one side of your vise like that. You should have set it on something and put the piece in the middle of the vise. You would also be better suited with a 4 flute endmill rather than the 2 flute. |
