Neighbor has a Millermatic 35 S. Says it doesn't run. I didn't offer him anything as I know repairing old machines can be like rolling dice, but I thought I'd post and see what anyone else thought. The machine itself doesn't look to be be abused or anything, it just looks its age, but nothing major is missing or obviously out of place on it.Lincoln Squarewave 175Ex-aircraft sheet metal guy
Reply:Bought one of the same vintage, replaced the torch nozzle, cable liner and added a wire spool cleaner tab, machine is very good for what its worth. There are a lot of nicer machines out there but for the money its a winner.
Reply:I borrowed one from a friend a few years ago when I was building a large sail boat marina as I really needed a third machine. It was used very day for hours and we had no problems of any kind. It is a great machine in my book. |
