An uncle of mine sent home with me today his Hobart BETA-MIG 250. Told me to not plan on bringing it back. Got an almost full tank (80 cu ft, I think) of C25 with regulator, and a brand new box of .035 wire. It needs a voltage control knob and a good clean up. I'd like to find a manual for it but have not had any luck on Hobart's site. Safety 3rdGump

Reply:Thank you vwguy3 and Txdoc! Each one emailed me a manual. I called Hobart about getting a replacement voltage knob and they said it is no longer available so I made one with a 3/8 shaft collar, tigged on a sheetmetal pointer and 5/16 bolt for a handle. Problem now is that its very hard to turn. I'm thinkin I need to open up the side of the machine and lube the contact switch, but the manual makes no mention of doing this. Is this something that even needs greased? If so , what kind of grease/lube should I put on it?Thanks in advanceSafety 3rdGump
