Any interest in a Miller Performance, or Jackson NexGen helmet?

I've got too many helmets right now, so I'd like to sell my Miller "Performance Series" helmet if anyone wants it. I bought it at the beginning of this year, and went through school with it. It's used obviously, but in great shape still, no problems with it. I really loved this helmet, liked the lens enough that I upgraded to another Miller with a larger view.I'd let it go for $100 + shipping, about half of what I paid for it this January. I'll include a pack of both outer & inner lenses with it as well. It's just the plain black version, no fancy graphicsI also will be looking to sell my Jackson NexGen helmet in the near future, if I get the job I'm looking at. Then I'll be able to bring the lens back home, as I'm currently using it in my work provided helmet. I can put the lens in either a "shadow" or Halo-X helmet shell in the "heavy metal" scheme, your choice. I'll be able to include a good number of replacement clear lenses with this as well. But like I said, can't sell the Nex-Gen quite this moment, I'm just getting the word out. Reply:I might have an interest in the Nex-Gen. A lot would depend on how much you want and when, so I could see if I have the funds available. Don't need one right away, so no big deal if it takes a bit..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Then we can just move to paypal info, etc from there if you like it?DSW-I'm hoping to have it available within a month, but it may be a bit longer than that. If you'd like, I can sell it as just the lens, without any helmet shell (If you already have a favorite helmet that takes standard 4x5 lenses).  That'll help lower the price, and shipping as well I'd think.Have you ever had a chance to try a NexGen before? If not, I think you'd like it. Sure felt like a night and day difference between the original POS 3M lens (No Speedglas affiliation) and this one. I haven't been flashed by it once yet either, used to happen ALL the time with the old lens on some of the wierder welds . Reply:One of the students at the tech school had one last term and I liked it when I tried it. Seemed a bit better than my Miller Elite. I'll think on the lens itself vs getting it with a hood. I've got an older fixed shade Jackson it probably would fit in as my backup, but may just take the hood so I still have that as a spare. Reply:Alright, I'll keep you in mind if Mr DSW decides to pass.I had an initial interview / weld testing this past friday, and welded some more samples the guy in charge asked to see just today. So I'm hoping to have this finalized this week, and see if I've got the job or not.
