I picked up some odds and ends of rod from a friends shop when he closed up and among it is some with 306L stamped on it. I looked carefully with a magnifying glass and I am sure that is what it says. I cannot find any reference to this rod anywhere. Is there such a thing or what do I have and what would it be used for?
Reply:It's probably 308L and not 306L.... if the stamping die at the manufacturing facility was worn a little, the 8 would look a lot like a 6. Just my 2¢ even though it's not worth a nickel.-Hillbilly
Reply:That is what I thought too but it really looks like a 6. I will try and get a photo and post up.
