OK, having a weird problem. In setting B it won't work. The wire just heats up and curls up. Kind of like if you squeezed a tube of tooth paste out. A and C work fine. What would be the first thing I should check? Thanks,WillLincoln Promig 180
Reply:Pull the covers and check the wires attached to the back of the selector switch. Chances are a wire fell off of or burnt off the switch.
Reply:The selector switch is part of the control pc board. If it is still under warranty. Get it to a warranty shop for a new pc board. It's a small selector switch that at first look appears to be a pot. IF it is out of warranty. say ouch the pcb is over $300
