I have a pro fax Innershield gun at work. It's new, but I don't like the angle of the gooseneck. I really wish it was bent a little more. I know I can buy a new one at a different angle, but I don't really have the budget remaining this year for that kind of stuff. Can I just bend the one that's there a little further? Is there a liner inside that would keep it from kinking in and dragging on the wire?I want to say I can just bend it a little at a time and it should be fine, but I also can't afford to mess it up. Thanks in advance. Sent from my dumb smartphoneTeach Ag Mech - Mike At Home:Lincoln Electric AC225Miller Challenger 172Gas AxeWork:eclectic bunch of 90's vintage blue boxes
Reply:i got a brake tube bender that has three size dies, but it would break the outside insulation. profax sells replacable liners for goosenecks also. i suppose it would kink easily though, just like trying to bend a tranny line. what you mean, the school aint got 30 bucks? i saw that 12x10x.375 tube you got donated, heck, invite me over to your donation pile, and i'll bring you a brand new one- whatever color shape or size you want anytime, i'm serious
