Wanted to see what exactly the setup consists of, size and space, and what those who have used both think about how they compare. Have an acetylene torch, and am just looking at something that is comparatively safer, in general, even if a little slower to preheat, etc. Would like to see what I must get through the LWS and what I don't, i.e. Saturday and unexpectedly run dry, would like to be able to replenish through someone who is open. Also, what kind of consumption rates of oxygen do these two have versus one another? Reply:Very well presented procedure, perhaps the most professional and best presentation I have seen yet.I purchased special regulator, gauge, and host kit for propane fuel. I am more than pleased witht he result of changing to propane.MUST have hose grade T for use wuth propane. This has been discussed countless times on this site. Reply:My setup looks just like an O/A setup........thats because it is, just swap out the cutting tip. I have been running propylene for almost 10 years and will never go back.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
