Just got one.It is badass.Had a 3035 spoolmate in the past..... doesn't even come close to the spoolmatic.Miller wins again.

Reply:Two biggies.Two stage trigger.Way more power.... it will weld 1/2 plate for days.The 3035 was a hobby piece, spoolmatic is big leagues.
Reply:Hello bigshooter, which type of front end is on the spoolgun that you have now, is it similar the the first pic. that I've attached or the second one. First pic is one of the older generations and you'll note a lot more parts, second one is the "new" generation with far less parts and when you put it to work you'll generally find that the consumable life is far better as well. Great upgrade, I know you'll certainly enjoy it. Best regards, AllanEDIT: I should also note that the newer version of this front end utilizes a silicon bronze guide tube instead of the "plastic" one used in the older version, a way better, smooth feeding, guide system IMHO.
