Hey guys here is a short piece of pipe I did at work today to hook a cream tank up to a header line I built last year Attached Images
Reply:You can see in the pic of the pipe before polishing where I had some short runs due to bad positioning. I'm using a maxstar with lift arc only at work so tapering off is a bit of a challenge.
Reply:Did you use a filler rod? How thick is the pipe? What did you do for a back purge? It looks really good, thanks for sharing.Canner
Reply:No filler rod on these the fit up was flush all the way around I used factory fittings and the pieces of pipe that were cut were done with a saw that cuts square so it's just fusion welds all the way around. Purged the pipe with argon.
