Expoxy or 3M?

We are currently traveling across the country, and I have a broken aluminum hinge on the screen door on our RV.The hinge failed right at a 90 degree corner.  If I were at home, I could TIG the two halves back together.  The screen door hinges (three) and the RV main door hinges (three) are held in place by a continuous rod that runs the length of the door.  But to pull the hinge pin, so that I could go get the two halves welded together, requires pulling the door off of the RV, and then pulling out the hinge pin. I'm thinking of getting a piece of 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 alum. angle and epoxy or 3m glue it back over the two broken pieces, kind of like a splint until I get back home. Maybe a couple of self tapping screws to hold it until it sets too. Which kind of epoxy or 3m adhesive would you suggest? It has to be something that they stock at Lowes or Home Depot.
