Does anyone have a diagram of the wireing for the red face I put a shirley's remote on this unit old red face not shure of code but it is a round barrel the one that replaces the outlet. When i fired up the welder the included switch started to smoke. I talked to Kaye at Bill's she said it sounded like it had two positives going to it. She was going to email me a diagram to trace the wires inside but I didn't recive that last night and they are closed today. I can only i.d. the brown wire from the outside the rest are all black so I will have to pull the covers I just dont have anything to go on. Thank's in advance and it has four individual wires comeing out of the gen not like the newer ones that have the splice out in the open.1997 SA 250

Reply:Thanks to both of you I run this machine and welded with it before I bought it the arc seemed a little soft but it had a non opperating idler I didn't test the outlet but I was confident with a little work it would be right were it should. I have done alot of small thing's wires,plugs,thermostat,new hoses a front seal, oil change ,weldmart idler, new battery cables, new battery and I put a cable control remote in with the outlet replacemant to tap the remote. I followed the instructions exactly only disconnecting one side at a time as not to mix them up. I dont think it's something I did but I may be wrong I hope it is an eazy fix time is not as large as a problem as money I already passed my budget I wont stop now I am just getting frustrated. I  am wondering though would it have welded before if those wires are damaged or mixed up inside?1997 SA 250
