Hypertherm 800 3 phase wired into 1 phase????

For what I know , it can be done with electric motors, but electronics inside a board may work differently than just a motor. This model have one that comes with both 1 and 3 phase option, but the one I may buy have only 3 phase specs on the sticker , so it would have to be a different type of conversion , if it would at all work. No one from Hypertherm that could answer this one straight???

Reply:Thank you guys for the quick reply. For my luck I think that the one that I was interested is the 3 phase only model after those clarifications. Same thing happening with a cut 42 , which is showing in its plate as 3 phase only. My question I guess was more along the lines that even if one plasma cutter is only 3 phase, if there is a way of ,by maybe some external rectifier or some other way of wiring them , to make them operable in 1 phase, even if it comes designated only as 3 phase. I know many here are electrical wizards and maybe one of you have done it. I know it can be done with motors. I guess no one here have done it or its not possible. Guess will have to let those 2 go.
