Reply:This was my first "new thread post". Now that I see the image isn't upside down or side ways I will try to post a close up of the geese. Some kind of Big Blue constant current welding machineAnother smaller yet, Blue machine (it's got wire in it)

Reply:Nice work!GravelThe difference between theory and practice is that in theory there is no difference.
Reply:Thank you Mr. gravel sir. Funny thing is it started out as a piece of steel to lay on the floor to catch any escaping embers out the stove door and I still don't have that done! Some kind of Big Blue constant current welding machineAnother smaller yet, Blue machine (it's got wire in it)
Reply:That's looks nice! What thickness metal did you use? And whats in the bottom door?
Reply:WOW!!!! thats great.....Of all the things I lost I miss my mind the most...I know just enough about everything to be dangerous......You cant cure stupid..only kill it...
Reply:Motolife313, I am embarrassed to say I don't know my metal sheet gauges. I can tell you it is about 3/16s" and less than 1/8th". I wanted to use something stout enough to stand up without to much frame work around it. The goose is about 1/8th" thick, built up with mig and stick to achieve the shape - not to mention days worth of grinding. The bottom door is an ash door that slides in and out to empty. Some kind of Big Blue constant current welding machineAnother smaller yet, Blue machine (it's got wire in it)
