I gutted a 3 phase miller SRH-404 400/500amp stick welder. so here are the parts I have available. I would think they could work for many different machines. I will ebay them if no one here is interested in them. I know some of these parts are worth some $$ esp the diodesthe manual for the machine is here: http://www.millerwelds.com/om/o231d_mil.pdf6x PN 037596, 275amp, 250 V diode. all are current flow direction from cable to nutthe complete reostat amperage control assembly and wiring with remote amp plug etc... may work for someone wanting to add remote amperage control to a Dialarc or similar machine...Power switch 60amp 575vac also have the cooling fan and motor assembly. 2 black and one red weld cable studsOpen to offers on all or part. Reply:How much copper was in that puppy?Someone wanting to make an add-on rectified pack for a large old AC machine could make good use of those diodes.
Reply:Not that much. A lot of the coils were wrapped with aluminum rather than copper. maybe 40-60lbs our so of copper.Tiger Sales: AHP Distributor www.tigersalesco.comAHP200x; AHP 160ST; MM350P, Spoolmatic 30A; Everlast PowerTig 185; Thermal Dynamics 60i plasma. Reply:Hi Soutthpaw. Do you still have the six diodes? I'd be interested. I use them in a rectifier board on an old DC drive tug boat in Alaska. One note, you have the part number as 037596, but I think it is PN 037956. If you still have them and the number is 037956 and they test okay, let me know and I'll take them. Thanks nav Originally Posted by soutthpawI gutted a 3 phase miller SRH-404 400/500amp stick welder. so here are the parts I have available. I would think they could work for many different machines. Reply:[Hi Farmall. I'm having some trouble with this site/format. If I can figure out how to post that info, I'll be glad to. I have a 120 ft. old Navy Tug Boat with a homemade rectifier board that is all diesel/electric. I have two generators on board, one 40kw and one 70kw, both three phase, which run through transformers and through the rectifier board so the DC drive can use the power. When I get home next week, I'll try to post some photos, and I still need diodes. My board has twelve and I have one spare, so that's how I ended up here. Thanks.QUOTE=soutthpaw;547970]I gutted a 3 phase miller SRH-404 400/500amp stick welder. so here are the parts I have available. I would think they could work for many different machines.
