Rebuilding a Short Hood for every day use.I am trying to fab up some 'modern' parts - The welder was in fairly decent shape when I got it and I do not want to do anything permanent, just make it a little more maintenance friendly out in the boondocks.I neglected to measure the air intake tube and am now ready to build the airbox for a paper element: the welder is about 2 hrs from me round trip (getting blasted and painted)I figured someone on here would know the measurements by heart. Need the OD of the air intake tube. Also what size fuel line from tank to bowl od/id.It still has a fairly shiny oil bath AF on it, which I will probably just box up I just want something more "west Texas proof" and an extra in line FF Just in case.I have already added a screw on oil filter mount (uses same 2qt filter as the 454 in my truck)The airbox will also be a GM 'conversion' |
