I've come into possession of a massive Charles Parker vise, model No. 5X.Interestingly, I've seen photos of two different Parker vises labeled 5x, one with both the 5X model number and the Parker name on the left (facing the jaws) side of the vise. The other--the one I have--has No. 5X on the left side, and on the right side the words, The Chas. Parker Co. Meriden CT USA.Anyone have any info on age, weight, different types of 5X vises?

Reply:Looks very similar, other than the lettering. 6 1/4 inch jaws, will open to 12 inches. Weighs about as much as a small ox. Attached Images |
