#18 stubby gas lens parts?

I searched around but couldn't find any answers so here it goes. Are the #9/#20 gas lens collet bodies (45V) used for the #18 stubby gas lens collet body or is it a special stubby gas lens collet body? From what I could find they share the 53N cups, but what about stubby collets? From the looks of it a different insulator is used as well. I already have a stubby collet body setup for my #18 which I like the length of so I probably already have the right collets. I really don't want to buy a "kit"  if I don't have to and it'd be nice to just purchase the stubby gas lens collet body and insulator, plus the 53N cups are dirt cheap. Reply:It's a special part, the threads on a 9 and 20 are smaller. The stubby is actually a lens for a 9 or 20 with a different back end. The cups are the same but I'm not sure about the collets, as far as length goes.
Reply:Well after I posted I found some specs and it seems as the #9/20 torch is 5/16"-24 and the #18 is 3/8"-32 so the #9/20 gas lens collet body (45V) cannot be used as the #18 stubby gas lens collet body.Chris Allredwww.UnusualFabrication.com

Reply:You could buy a #9 torch for the cost of one of those kits. Check out the ck flex loc, you can interchange heads between 2 and 3 series. Unless you really need a water cooled torch. They get a bit more spendy.
Reply:I found the parts here on arc-zone. You can get the insulator (17GLG20) and stubby gas lens collet body (17GL040, 17GL116, 17GL332, 17GL18). The stubby collets are the same in both the stubby collet bodies and the stubby gas lens collet bodies.Chris Allredwww.UnusualFabrication.com
